Description
The Sajama is the highest mountain in Bolivia, it is located within the Sajama National Park in the western Cordillera. Being a volcano, its ascent from the technical point of view is not very difficult, but it is a long journey at high altitude.

Day 1.
La Paz – Sajama Town – Wincurata
Departure from La Paz to the town of Sajama (Sajama National Park) approximately 5 hours from La Paz, then we continue to Wincurata where we will begin our 3 hour hike to the base camp (4,800 m).
Day 2.
Base Camp – High Camp
Hike from base camp to high camp (5,700 m.) This hike takes about 5 hours.
Day 3.
High Camp – Summit – Base Camp
After a good breakfast we start the ascent, it takes approximately 7 hours to reach the summit of Sajama. The return is by the same route to the High Camp and then we continue to the base camp.
Day 4.
Base Camp – Hot Spings – La Paz
Walk from the base camp to Wincurata, where we will have the opportunity to enjoy the magnificent thermal baths, before returning to La Paz.
