Welcome to one of the most popular mountains in Bolivia, this mountain has two main routes, the normal route which is easy for the majority and the French route which is for people who already have mountain experience and want a greater challenge, it is coveted for being one of the most accessible 6000 mountains and emblem of the city of El Alto.

Day 1.

La Paz – Base Camp – Old Glacier

The first day we will depart from La Paz to Laguna Zongo (4,750m) where
we will camp. Then we will make a short hike to the base of the glacier,
where we will spend the afternoon practicing different techniques on the
ice such as hiking, climbing, rappelling, rescue techniques, etc.

Day 2.

Base Camp –  High Camp

After breakfast we will begin the ascent to our high camp (5.135m), hiking
time for 2-3 hours, at the high camp we only have to rest well to attack the
summit.

Day 3.

High Camp – Summit – La Paz

This day we will start very early to reach the summit (6,088 m), from the
top we will be able to enjoy the views of the Alteño altiplano, the valleys,
Lake Titicaca and the entire Cordillera Real.
Then we will start the descent back to the high camp and then to the base
camp where our vehicle will be waiting for us to return to La Paz
