Day 1.

The tour starts at 10:30 a.m. from the agency office in Uyuni.

  • Train Cemetery, showcasing old locomotives that played a crucial role in Bolivia’s mining boom.
  • Colchani, a town dedicated to salt production, featuring crafts made from salt and textiles from alpaca and vicuña.
  • Salt Mounds, the gateway to the majestic Salar, with a view of the “salt eyes.”
  • Visit to the first salt hotel “Playa Blanca,” now a museum.
  • Flags Square.
  • Incahuasi Island, known as “Casa del Inka” in Quechua, with a walk and a view of millenary cacti over 200 years old and 10 meters tall, also visiting the coral arch and viewpoint.
  • Perspective photoshoot (crazy photos).
  • Arrival at the hostel. Basic accommodation, shared rooms, includes dinner.

Day 2.

  • Breakfast.
  • Visit to Salar de Chiguana.
  • Viewpoint for observing Ollague Volcano.
  • Laguna Cañapa.
  • Laguna Hedionda.
  • Laguna Chiarcota.
  • Laguna Onda.
  • View of the stone tree and other rock formations with strange shapes.
  • Walk through the Siloli Desert.
  • Entrance to Eduardo Abaroa Reserve.
  • Viewpoint of the Red Lagoon and observation of pink flamingos.
  • Arrival at the hostel with shared rooms, including dinner.

Day 3.

  • Breakfast and departure at 5:30 a.m.
  • Arrival at the “Sol de mañana” volcanic zone.
  • View of fumaroles and geysers, volcanic lava cracks mixed with sulfuric gases.
  • Visit and enjoyment of the “Polques” hot springs, natural and volcanic waters.
  • Walk in the vicinity of Laguna Verde and view of Licancabur Volcano.
  • Visit to the Valley of the Rocks.
  • 4×4 Vehicle (maximum 6 people per jeep).
  • Driver-guide specialized.
  • Meals (2 breakfasts, 3 lunches, and 2 dinners).
