Overview
Welcome to one of Bolivia’s most popular mountains. This mountain has several routes, but there are two main ones: the normal route, which is the easiest for most people due to its low technical difficulty, and the French route, which is for people who already have mountain experience and want a greater challenge. It is coveted for being one of the most accessible 6,000-meter mountains and an emblem of the city of El Alto.

A perfect mountain for those who want to reach their first 6,000 meters. Depending on your experience, you can do it in 3 days to have more time to acclimatize, or 2 days for those who already have experience.

Day 1.
La Paz – Base Camp Huayna Potosi – Old Glacier
Pick up at your hotel in La Paz and transfer to the Huayna Potosí base camp (4,750 m) where we will have lunch and then head to our training session on the ancient glacier.
We will return to the base camp to spend the night.
Day 2.
Base Camp – High Camp Huayna Potosi
In the morning after breakfast, we will prepare everything necessary to head to the high camp (5,150 m), approximate duration: 2-3 hours.
We will have dinner, hold a meeting to finalize details for summit day, and spend the night at the high camp.
Day 3.
High Camp – Summit Huayna Potosi – La Paz
We will get up around midnight to have breakfast and set off for the summit (6,088 m). We will then return along the same route to Campo Alto, base camp, and finally to your hotel in the city of La Paz.
