Overview

Sajama, Bolivia’s highest mountain, rises majestically within Sajama National Park in the western mountain range. As an inactive volcano, it is technically easy to climb, but the expedition is a long journey at high altitude that requires acclimatization and endurance. Climbers are rewarded with panoramic views of the Andean highlands, snow-capped peaks, and the park’s unique landscapes, making Sajama a distinctive and unforgettable alpine experience.

Details

The ascent to Sajama is a long journey at high altitude through volcanic terrain, which means it is very dry. Each stage allows climbers to enjoy the extensive Andean landscapes and reach the highest peak in Bolivia.
